A Stunt Driving conviction, otherwise known as Racing, stunts, etc., can result in serious consequences.

The penalties associated with a conviction for stunt driving can include:

  • Fine of not less than $2000 and not more than $10,000
  • Imprisonment for a term not more than six months, or to both
  • Licence suspension not more than two years on first conviction
  • Licence suspension for ten years upon subsequent conviction

Six demerit points are also included with a conviction for Stunt Driving, plus increased insurance costs.
