Jeff Whalen, CD

Jeff Whalen is a former Police Officer with several years of police experience, and a former member of the Canadian Armed Forces. He is a Paralegal licensed by the Law Society of Ontario, and a Dean’s List Honours graduate from the Paralegal program at Loyalist College.

He is also a former Provincial Prosecutor and conducted prosecutions for Part I and Part III Provincial Offences Act (POA) matters including Commercial Motor Vehicle offences in the Ontario Court of Justice POA Court.

During Jeff’s time as a Police Officer, he was qualified as a Police Radar Instructor and also received specialized training in Criminal Intelligence Analysis.

While completing his Paralegal studies, Jeff successfully completed student work placements with the office’s of the provincial Crown Attorney and Municipal Prosecutor, wherein he gained practical and relevant experience in relation to the prosecution of serious and minor traffic offences.
